Help SAIL's Odyssey of the Mind Team Make it to World Finals!

Who are we?

We are a team of 5 teens from McKinney, Plano, Frisco, Allen and Leonard. We are members of SAIL, an all-inclusive co-operative homeschool group based in Collin County. We have been competing in Odyssey of the Mind since 2011; this is our first win at State and our first trip to the World Finals!

What are we doing?

Odyssey of the Mind is the world’s largest creative-problem solving competition. Teams from schools and organizations around the world compete to prove they have the most creative, out-of-the-box solutions. In order to advance to World Finals, we had to place at regional and state level competitions. We are excited about competing in the World Final competition this year, but the costs are overwhelming! We need over $6,000 to register and travel to the competition, so we’re asking for help from our friends, family , and community. We’re asking for you to help in any way you can – large or small.

How can you help?

Cash is our biggest need. It takes $655 to register and provide lodging for one team member at World. We need $1500 to transport our team and $250 to transport our team-created set, costumes, and props. Other expenses include lodging on the way, supplies, meals, and more. We are also requesting donations of items that could help us raise funds in our online auction.
